In the heart of City Carton slums, Nairobi, Brightstar is a safe haven for vulnerable children and survivors of abuse. We provide love, education, care, and opportunities, because every child deserves a future filled with hope.
We help children stay in school by paying fees, giving uniforms, and providing school supplies. We also mentor them to improve their grades. Impact: 89 children fully supported, 67% showing better performance.
Safety, Meals & Care
We give children a safe place to live, daily meals, and counseling. We also trace families for reunification when possible. Impact: 300 children fed every month, 90 rescued from danger.
Advocacy & Awareness
We teach the community to speak out against abuse. This includes training leaders, hosting talks, and working with schools to protect children. Impact: 800 people reached, 87 trained in child protection.
Women Economic Empowerment
We help young mothers and abuse survivors start small businesses by offering training, group savings, and seed money. Impact: 87 women trained, 10 groups formed, multiple businesses running.
